Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was born in Minsk (the capital of Belarus) she is the daughter of Sergey. The father of her Sergey (d. 2019.) was an athlete in ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka is a Belarusian born on May 5, 1998. Her career has seen her had 12 WTA singles titles. One of them was an Australian Open Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. In her role as a specialist in doubles she has also won at the US Open of 2019 as and the Australian Open of 2021 with Elise Mertens. Together with the Belgian tennis champion, the Belgian won the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells as well as Miami in 2019, thus completing an appearance in the Sunshine Double. This feat was made possible by four couples in the women's doubles. Her ranking went from second to third in singles world rankings at the end of August on the 23rd, 2021. The highest ranking she achieved was achieved again in January 2023. But in doubles, she moved up to number one following her win in Melbourne in February the identical year. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach in 2018 until the end of her season in the year 2019. He also coached her for a short time at the start of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was also the coach she had for a short period during the months of August through September 2020. Since the end of 2020 she has been coached by her countryman Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova were her models.
